Our Favorite Winter Cocktails

It's cold and windy outside but you'll be warm and toasty inside with our

favorite winter cocktails. These drinks are guaranteed to brighten your

weekend.

Our very favorite...the White Chocolate Martini. Yummm!


Winter Margarita


  • 1½ oz. Tequila

  • 1 tsp. agave nectar

  • ½ oz. lime juice

  • ½ oz. blood orange juice

  • ½ tsp. vanilla extract



Rim/Garnish:

  • ½ tsp. flaky salt

  • ½ tsp. sugar

  • ¼ tsp. cinnamon

  • ¼ tsp. chile

  • OPTIONAL: cinnamon stick, star anise pods, and/or blood orange slice (for garnish)

Preparation

  • Combine the sugar, salt, chile, and cinnamon on a small plate. Rub rim of an old-fashioned or rocks glass with lime half; dip in spice mixture. Fill with ice and set aside.

  • Combine 1½ oz. of Patrón Reposado Tequila, lime juice, blood orange juice, vanilla extract, and agave nectar in a cocktail shaker. Fill shaker with ice, cover, and shake vigorously for about 20 seconds.

  • Strain margarita through a strainer or a mesh sieve into reserved glass. Garnish with cinnamon stick, star anise pod, and/or blood orange slice


Good Tidings

  • 2 ounces vodka

  • 1 ounce Cointreau

  • 1/2 ounce rum

  • 1 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice

  • 1 1/2 ounces cranberry juice

  • 2 allspice berries

  • Frozen cranberries, for garnish

Preparation:

  • Place a good amount of ice in a lowball glass and set aside.

  • STEP 2 Using a cocktail shaker, add the vodka, Cointreau, rum, lemon juice, cranberry juice and all spice. Add a handful of ice and shake vigorously for about 30 seconds.

  • STEP 3 Strain into the prepared glass. Garnish with a few frozen cranberries and serve.

Hot Toddy

  • 1 ounce dark rum or bourbon

  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

  • 1 tablespoon pure honey

  • 1/4 teaspoon apple cider vinegar, optional


  • 1/4 cup hot water or brewed tea

  • Lemon slice

Preparation:

Put honey, lemon juice and the apple cider vinegar in a warmed mug. Add hot water or hot tea and stir until the honey has dissolved. Add the rum or bourbon, stir then finish with a lemon slice.


White Chocolate Martinis

Just 3 ingredients are needed to make this gorgeous drink!

  • Vanilla Vodka

  • Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur

  • Heavy Whipping Cream

Preparation:

  • Coat the rim of the glasses by coating in sugar. (We use Bright White Sparkling Sugar Crystals by India Tree which is available on Amazon)

    • With 2 plates side by side, fill the bottom of one plate with vanilla vodka, fill the other plate with sugar crystals

    • Dip rim of the glass into vodka, then dip the wet rim into the crystals, making sure covered all around

  • Fill a martini shaker halfway with ice

  • Pour in 2 ounces of Vanilla Vodka

  • Add 2 ounces of Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur

  • Add in 1 ounce of heavy whipping cream

  • Close the martini shaker tightly with the lid and vigorously shake

  • Pour the finished martinis into the prepared sugared glasses.

Rumchata Hot Cocoa

  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

  • ¼ cup granulated sugar

  • ? teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup whole milk

  • ¼ cup heavy cream

  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 3 ounces RumChata

  • Marshmallows, for topping

  • Nonstick pan

  • Whisk

Preparation:

Add the cocoa, sugar, salt, milk, cream, and vanilla to a small saucepan and heat over medium-high heat whisking frequently until combined.

  • Cook until the edges of the liquid begin to simmer and remove from heat.

  • Add 1.5 ounces of RumChata to 2 mugs and divide the hot chocolate mixture between the two mugs.

  • Tops with marshmallows or whipped cream and enjoy.

**Don’t add alcohol until the end, to prevent cooking off.


Salted Caramel White Russian

  • 1½ oz. Tequila

  • 1 tsp. agave nectar

  • ½ oz. lime juice

  • ½ oz. blood orange juice

  • ½ tsp. vanilla extract

  • ½ tsp. sugar

  • ¼ tsp. cinnamon
