Belmar, NJ, known for it's small town charm

Day 1

Check in to one of our favorite B&B’s, TANDEM BIKE INN With its home-y feel and prime location on 10th Avenue, you’re close to all of the restaurants.

One of the cozy rooms at the Tandem Bike Inn.

Which is perfect, as Sunday, March 10th is the 11th Annual Belmar Restaurant Tour. This year's tour features 37 diverse dining destinations throughout downtown and along Ocean Avenue.

Tickets are on-sale now and a free shuttle service will be available throughout the tour from Belmar Marina to Ocean Avenue and from one end of Main Street to the other.

Some of our favorite restaurants participating in the tour include:

Can't make a trip to Belmar without indulging in some seafood at Klein's!

True Italian cuisine at La Dolce Vita.

Day 2

Wake up and head to COASTAL CORE FITNESS on Main Street! It’s a perfect way to start the day with a full-body workout to get your heart pumping and body shaking.

Drop in for a class at Coastal Core Fitness on Main St.

After working up an appetite, head over to COMFI, a cozy breakfast and lunch cafe serving homemade specialities

Shopping is also a must when in Belmar. Be sure to check out the BELMAR BIKE SHOP, SURF’S UP CANDLE, and the many unique stores along Main Street.

All natural, hand-poured, soy scented candles at Surf's Up.

Take a break from all the shopping and have tea time at SWEET TEASE TEA ROOM The perfect spot to indulge in a scone or cupcake with your cup of tea.

Day 3

Take a morning stroll on the mile-long boardwalk where, if the waves are right, surfers will be hanging ten. You may also be lucky enough to see a school of dolphins!

While on your walk, you’ll come across PLAYA BOWLS, the original acai shop at The Shore. Try the famous Nutella Bowl or Electric Mermaid, believe us - you won’t be disappointed.

The colorful and delicious bowls at Playa Bowls.

Next, head over to the BELMAR ARTS COUNCIL, to not only see what art they have on display, but to take a workshop or class! From beginners photography classes to Ukrainian Egg Decorating, there’s something for everyone. Check their calendar for upcoming workshops.

Lastly, we can’t forget to mention, Sunday, March 3 is the famous St Patrick’s Day Parade in Belmar. It’s the largest St. Patrick’s Day parade in the state. Be sure to arrive on Main Street early to grab your spot before the 11:30am start time.
